The rumour mill

With 2 months since the end of the Bees Nationwide Conference championship winning season. The Bees are preparing for life in League Two we now look at in the 2 months the Bees have before the season starts who could be coming to Underhill.

First, Scott Kerr the caption of Nationwide Conference side Scarborough. Scott has been linked with the Bees for a few months now and according to some sources the Bees had made an offer for the player at around ht end of the season. Scott has rejected a new deal with Scarborough and although there manager having said I expect him (Scott Kerr) in a red shirt on the first day of next season(not actural words but along those lines). I'm sure most Bees fans will be exspecting him in a black and amber shirt on the first day of the new season unless we are away at Boston United! His contract is up next month. Although the Bees will have competition fellow League 2 rivals Grimsby are apparently after him aswell.

Second is Anthony Elding aka Fat boy. The striker who plays for bitter Hertfordshire rivals Stevenage Borough was linked with the Bees in the Barnet Times. I'm not sure at what the Bees fan reaction would be we don't like Elding and Elding doesn't like us.
Although saying this Anthony would be a fine edition to the side. Graham Westley told the NLP that he exspects that Elding will stay at Stevenage.

The third player linked with the club is another Nationwide Conference player this time from Hereford United. The player being Adam Stansfield again was linked with the Bees in the Barnet times.
Adam, is a good striker and is in the England non league side. Although if both the rumours are true of Elding and Adam. The Bees will only be buying one I don't think we need a new strike force. Maybe one more striker by not two at this time we are fine with Giuliano Grazioli and Liam Hatch.
