THEY PLAYED FOR BOTH: Barnet & Swansea City

Mark Gower joined Barnet from Tottenham Hotspur for £25,000 in January 2001 and was in the Barnet side that finished bottom at the end of that season and were relegated to the Conference. He left Barnet in July 2003 for £32,500 to join Southend United. He made 90 league appearances for Barnet scoring 15 goals, including the goal against Dagenham & Redbridge that was voted best goal of season 2001/02 by the BFCSA. He joined Swansea from Southend in 2008 and is a regular member of the first team squad at the Liberty Stadium.

Mike Basham joined Swansea from West Ham on a free transfer in 1994 and made 29 league appearances for the Swans before moving to Peterborough a year later. In 1997, he joined Barnet and was involved in Both Barnet’s play-off seasons in 1998 and 2000. In March 2001, he joined York City having made 75 league appearances for Barnet and scoring 2 goals.

Jon Ford joined Swansea in 1991 from Cradley Town and made 160 league appearances for the Swans, scoring 7 goals in 4 years at the club before being transferred to Bradford City in 1995 for £210,000. In 1996 he joined Gillingham and while at the Priestfield he had a loan spell at Underhill, and then made a permanent move in March 1997. Like Basham, he was part of the team that made the play-offs in 2008, but moved to Kidderminster in 1999 after having made 47 league starts for the cub, scoring 2 goals.
