Ben Wright had a trial at Barnet in the summer of 2007 and impressed manager, Paul Fairclough and was offered a contract but chose to join Lincoln City instead. He was released by Lincoln at the end of the 2008/09 season and joined Macclesfield Town.

Ahmed Deen joined Barnet in the summer of 2009 after a successful trial during the summer when he played in many of Barnet's pre season friendlies. Deen was signed on a short term contract but has since signed a two year contract and scored his first ever goal in senior football in Barnet's 3-1 win at Northampton Macclesfield Town having joined them from St. Albans City
