THEY PLAYED FOR BOTH: Barnet & Gateshead

Liam Hatch joined Barnet from Gravesend & Northfleet (now Ebbsfleet) in the summer of 2003 and played a big part in helping the Bees win promotion to the Football League in 2005. A real fans' favourite at Underhill, Liam made over 200 first team appearances for the Bees and scored 29 goals before joining Peterborough in 2008 for £150,000.

In 2012, he joined Gateshead from Darlington and he has scored 11 goals in 40 Conference appearances for the heed.

Kenny Lowe played a big part in Barnet's promotion to the Football League in 1991 and subsequent promotion To Division 2 (now League One) two years later. He joined the Bees from barrow in 1990 and made 107 first team appearances for the Bees scoring 7 goals before joining Stoke City in 1993. He joined Gateshead from Darlington in 1996 and later managed then as well.

Peter Guthrie joined Barnet from Tottenham for £60,000 in 1989, a huge fee for a non-league club. Guthrie made only 25 appearances for the Bees before moving to Bournemouth in 1990. Guthrie had a short spell with Gateshead in the 1993/94 season before moving to Whitley Bay.

Nicky Deverdics joined Barnet from Gretna in 2008 and made 51 appearances for the Bees scoring twice before moving to Blyth Spartans in 2010. Early in his career he joined Gateshead from Newcastle United in 2006 but left the same year to join Bedlington Terriers

John Oster signed for gateshead this season after being released at the end of last season by Barnet. Oster made 28 appearances for the Bees scoring twice.
