Barnet are rumoured to be interested in goalkeeper, Stuart Nelson who has just been released by Gillingham. Nelson played under Bees' manager, Martin Allen when he gained promotion with the Gills from League Two. Nelson would provide cover and competition for Graham Stack.
Nelson began his career at Doncaster before joining Brentford in 2004 for £10,000 and went on to make 139 appearances for the 'other bees'. Nelson also had spells at Leyton Orient, Norwich & Aberdeen before linking up with Martin Allen at Notts County in 2010 where he made 90 appearances before moving to Gillingham in 2012. Nelson has made 128 appearances for Gillingham.
