Barnet have signed 32 year old former QPR winger, Lee Cook after he has impressed in pre-season friendlies. Cook began his career at non-league, Aylesbury before moving to Watford in 1999. He made 64 appearances for the Hornets scoring 7 goals and had loan spells with York City and QPR before joining the Rs in 2004 for £150,000. Cook made 127 appearances for QPR scoring 10 goals but moved to Fulham in 2007 but injuries ruined his time at Craven Cottage and following loan spells at Charlton and QPR, he returned to Loftus Road in 2009 for £2,500,000. He spent 2 ½ years at QPR and had loan spells at Leyton Orient and Charlton before joining Orient in 2012. Last season, he played in Cyprus with Apollon Smyrni.
Barnet Mad welcomes Lee to the club and hopes that he has a successful stay at Barnet.
