Barnet are said to be close to signing Histon striker, Dan Holman. Holman scored 29 goals for the Blue Square North side as well as being voted that division’s Player of the Month last January. He was also voted Histon Player of the Year for 2011/12. Holman began his career at Long Buckby, who play in the United Counties League Premier Division. Holman could well be a good addition to Barnet’s strike force. We will wait to see if this is a rumour or if it becomes fact.
