Barnet have allowed striker, Cliff Akurang to move on a month's loan to Blue Square Premier club, Weymouth. Akurang, whose last appearance for the Bees was as a substitute away at Morecambe, has not started a match under Ian Hendon and does not seem to be part of Hendon's long term plans.
Akurang joined Barnet in January 2008 from Histon and has made 32 first team starts plus another 16 appearances as a substitute and has scored 10 goals for Barnet. His last goals for Barnet were the two he scored in the 4-3 away win at Rotherham.
Meanwhile, Ian Hendon is trying to persuade Plymouth Argyle to allow Barnet to extend the loan of winger, Yannick Bolasie by an extra month. Bolasie's loan is due to end after tomorrow's home match with Darlington. Bolasie has made 9 starts and 3 appearances as a substitute since arriving at Underhill and has scored 3 goals including the winner in the 2-1 home win over Rochdale.
Strikers Elliott Charles and Luke Medley have also gone on loan. Charles has joined Southern League side, Hemel Hempstead Town where he has linked up with former Bee, Anthony Thomas. He made his debut in the 1-1 away draw at Tiverton. Charles has made 3 appearances as a substitute for Barnet.
Medley has joined Blue Square South side, Havant & Waterlooville. Medley has made 6 starts for the Bees plus another 14 as a substitute and scored 1 goal, away at Rotherham, since joining the club from Bradford City in the summer. He has not made a first team appearance since Ian Hendon took over as manager.
Meanwhile, Keiron St. Amie who was recently released by Barnet has joined Blue Square South club, Thurrock. He scored in their recent 2-2 draw at Havant & Waterlooville. Barnet player Danny Hart, on loan at Thurrock, was also in the side alongside former Bees, Lee Flynn and Leon Lalite, formerly Leon Bell.
