Barnet dropped two points after conceding an equaliser in time added on at the end of 90 minutes. The Bees had come back from being a goal down to lead 2-1 and looked set to maintain their 100% away record.

Telford took the lead on 39 minutes after Curtis Weston was harshly adjudged to have hand balled in the penalty area and Tony Gray converted the spot kick.

Martin Allen used all three substitutes fairl earl;y in the second half; Adam Mekki, Sam Muggleton and Jon Nurse replacing Luisma Villa, Sam Togwell and Luke Gambin. The changes seemed tyop have paid dividends when midway through the second half, Barnet equalised through leading scorer, Lee COOK who hit a tremendous shot from 25 yards out that flew past Hedge in the Telford goal.

Barnet almost took the lead soon after but John Akinde’s shot from close range went over the bar. About 10 minutes from time, Barnet did take the lead when Jon Nurse glanced a header, from an Adam Mekki cross, towards goal and Hedge could only palm the ball out towards Elliott Johnson, who slid the ball home for his first goal of the season.

Just when it seemed that the Bees would take all three points back to the Hive, Mike Phenix headed home a superb cross to give the home side a point. Still, Barnet remain top, a point clear of Woking, who have moved into 2nd place after Halifax lost their second successive game at Forest Green Rovers. Next up for the Bees are 7th placed Wrexham at the Hive on Tuesday.
