Harry Hunt gave the Bees the lead at the second attempt after his inital headed was saved but Hunt scored on the rebound.
At half time Paul Fairclough made 11 changes which included new signing and ex legend Lee Harrison. The Bees later won a penalty after the former Brighton and Chelsea midfielder Alexis Nicolas was brought down in the area. The penalty was taken and missed by Bees striker Giuliano Grazioli.
