Barnet came into this match against 2nd placed Kidderminster unbeaten in their last six matches. Mark Byrne and Andy Yiadom returned to the side, but Mauro Vilhete kept his place at left back in place of Elliott Johnson.
The Bees started brightly and Keanu Marsh-Brown broke through with a brilliant run before firing just over. Barnet lost striker Dani Lopez soon after with what seemed to be a dislocated shoulder. Harry Crawford came on as substitute.
On 25 minutes, Barnet went ahead following a corner hit low into the penalty area and after Kidderminster failed to clear, LUISMA VILLA fired home into the corner from close range.
Harry Crawford hit a fierce shot which brought a fine save from Lewis and Graham Stack had to get down low to make a couple of saves to keep Barnet’s leads intact. Barnet played some good football in the first half and were worth their first half lead.

Kidderminster came into the game in the second half but in truth did not create that much though Stack had to make a fine save from a fierce shot by Storer. Marsh-Brown twice broke through and created clear opportunities from which Barnet should have gone further ahead and which would have made life more comfortable for the home side.
Kidderminster’s Marvin Johnson became the second player to be carried off on a stretcher, after Dani Lopez which lead to 8 minutes being added on at the end of te game, most of it spent near the opponents penalty area and Barnet played out time for a deserved three points. However, Luisma was sent off just before the end for a second yellow card given for kicking the ball away and he will miss next Saturday’s FA Cup tie at Preston.
A solid, professional performance from the Bees, particularly from the defence, in which, converted left back, Mauro Vilhete was outstanding.
