Barnet missed the chance to go three points clear at the top of the Conference table when for the second away match running, the Bees conceded a late goal to deny them all three points. Bristol Rovers had drawn away at Macclesfield, With Grimsby having won in midweek away at Dover and then winning at Welling, the Mariners had moved above the Pirates into 2nd place. Barnet had 79 points from 41 matches, one point above both Rovers and Grimsby. Macclesfield are 6 points behind in 4th place followed by Forest Green, Woking & Eastleigh.

Barnet took the lead on18 minutes following a long throw from Sam Muggleton which was headed on by Mauro Vilhete for Curtis WESTON to tap home. It was the Barnet skipper's 3rd goal in 4 games.

Alfreton gained a point after they were awarded a penalty in time added on and full back, Bradley Wood scored comfortably from the spot.
