Kasper Schmeichel joined County from Manchester City in August 2009. He is the son of former Manchester United keeper, Peter Schmeichel. He made just 8 league appearances at City and was sent out on loan to Darlington, Bury, Falkirk, Cardiff and Coventry. Notts County League Appearances: 1.
Kevin Pilkington joined the club from Mansfield in 2005. He made over 150 appearances for the Stags in nearly 5 years at Field Mill. He has also played for Wigan and Port Vale. Notts County League Appearances: 141.
Russell Hoult signed for Notts County in July 2008. He had a spell on loan at Meadow Lane last season. He began his career at Leicester and had loan spells with Lincoln, Blackpool, Bolton and Derby before signing for the Rams in 1995 for £200,000. He made over 100 appearances for Derby before moving to Portsmouth in 2000 for £300,000. Less than a year later he moved to WBA for £450,000 and he was at the Hawthorns for 6 years, making over 200 appearances for them. Sol Campbell sensationally joined Notts County in August 2009 after leaving Portsmouth at the end of last season. Campbell played in the World Cup for England and has gained 73 caps at full international level. He began his career at Tottenham where he made over 300 first team appearances before making a controversial move to Arsenal in 2001. He made over 150 first team appearnces for the Gunners and helped the Gunners win two Premier League titles and win the FA Cup three times. He was a member of the Arsenal side that won the double in 2002. He moved to Portsmouth in 2006 and played over 100 times for them.
Jamie Clapham started his career at Tottenham but joined Ipswich Town in 1998 for £300,000 and made over 200 appearances for the Tractor Boys before joining Birmingham in 2003 for £1.3. Graeme Lee was signed by County from Bradford City in June 2009. He made 44 appearances for the Bantams last season. He joined Bradford City in June 2008 after being released by Doncaster Rovers. He began his career at Hartlepool and played over 200 league games for them in nearly 8 years at the club. He moved to Sheffield Wednesday in 2003 and three years later moved to Doncaster.
