He scored 10 goals in just over a year at City, before joining Crystal Palace for £1,500,000, scoring 8 goals in a year before moving on again, this time back to Portsmouth for a second spell at Fratton Park. He scored 29 goals in just over 4 years there before joining Walsall and then subsequently playing for Oxford United and Southend before joining Bournemouth in 2007. Steve Fletcher is in his second spell with the Cherries having re-joined Bournemouth from Crawley Town in January 2009. He began his career at Hartlepool before joining Bournemouth in 1992.
