Team News ahead of tomorrow's match at Underhill

Barnet are at home to Bury tomorrow. The Shakers who are managed by former Rotherham boss, Alan Knill are in fine form and have won 5 out of their last 7 matches to pull away from the bottom of the table. Hey are currently 14t in the table, just above the Bees, and have 52 points from 42 matches.

Earlier this season when the two sides met at Gigg Lane, Bury ran out 3-0 winners. This was the first time that Barnet have lost to Bury since they returned to the league in 2005. In 2005-06, the two sides drew 1-1 at Underhill with Ben Strevens grabbing a late point for the Bees and the return at Bury was a goalless draw. Last season, an Ian Hendon penalty and a Tresor Kandol goal gained the Bees appoint in a 2-2 draw at Gigg lane, where Jason Puncheon was sent off. Barnet won 2-1 at Underhill with goals from Nicky Bailey and Adam Birchall.

Barnet were hoping that Josh Wright would be fit to play in tomorrow's match after missing the last two matches, after being unwell. However, he now has a chest infection and will miss both tomorrow's match and the away game on Tuesday at Rochdale. Ismail Yakubu, Kenny Gillet and Rob Beckwith are also all ruled out. Michael Leary could start his third consecutive match as captain and emergency centre back.

Danny Hart has had his loan period with Ryman League, Wivenhoe Town extended to the end of the season, but Paul Fairclough has had a clause inserted so that Barnet can recall him if he is needed . Fairclough has stated that he would like to have a look at Hart, and young defender, Joe Tabiri, in the first team before the end of the season.

For Bury, defender Efe Sodje has had his loan from Gillingham extended until the end of the season. Skipper, Paul Scott is out through suspension, while defender Dave Challinor is likely to miss out because of a knee injury. Paul Morgan and Simon Yeo also miss out through injury, while loan keeper, Darren Randolph has returned to Charlton Athletic.
