There was good news on the injury front for Barnet this week with the news that new striker John O'Flynn and former Gretna midfield player, Nicky Deverdics will play some part of today's game at home to Bury. O'Flynn will be making his first appearance for the Bees, while Deverdics has only come on as a substitute in the opening game of the season at home to Chesterfield. Manager, Paul Fairclough said that he wouldn't announce until just before the kick off whether or not the two players would start the game or not. Barnet are looking for their first win of the new season.

Barnet are still without their other two new signings, centre back, Jeremy de Magalhaes and goalkeeper Ran Kadosh who are both out injured and are likely to miss the next few games. Apart from this, Barnet have no injury problems. Bury have announced that they have no injury problems and manager, Alan Knill can choose from a full squad.

There will be a minute's silence before today's match following the murder of 19 year old PROTEC midfield player, Oliver Kingonzila. Black armbands will also be worn by the players.

Meanwhile, Barnet winger, Keiron St. Amie has gone on a month's loan to Blue Square Premier club, Grays Athletic. The former QPR winger has started 6 matches for Barnet and made another 8 appearances as a substitute but has yet to score a goal for the Bees.
