Mark Hughes to stay at Underhill

Barnet midfield player, Mark Hughes finally put pen to paper and signed  a new one year contract with the club. Hughes joined the Bees from Chester City last year and was Ian Hendon’s first permanent signing for the club. 

Hughes began his career at Tottenham and had loan spells at Northampton Town and Oldham before joining the Latics in 2005. Subsequently he had spells at Thurrock, Chesterfield and Stevenage and had a trial at Barnet before joining Chester in 2007. He was a regular at the Deva Stadium before moving to Barnet in February 2009. He is a full Northern Ireland international.
