Josh Wright to stay at Underhill a further month

17 year old central midfield player, Josh Wright, on loan from Charlton Athletic has had his loan extended for another month. Wright, who made his debut in the 2-1 home win over Bradford City, has also been picked for the England Under 19 squad next month in the European Championship qualifying tournament. England are due to play against Romania, Iceland and Belgium and Wright will miss the JPT game at Brighton on October 9 and the home match against Mansfield Town on the 13th.

Meanwhile, Ismail Yakubu should be fit for Saturday's home match against Rotherham United after injuring his calf in the 1-0 win at Chesterfield. However, left back, Kenny Gillet, who has looked so impressive since his arrival this summer from Caen, looks set to be out for up to two months with a metatarsal injury.

The Bees are unbeaten in the last 4 games, having taken 8 points and will be looking to extend that run with two home matches coming up against Rotherham United on Saturday and Wycombe Wanderers next Tuesday. Both will be tough games. Rotherham came down from League One last season and are amongst the most fancied sides to be promoted this season, while Wycombe will also be expected to at least make the play offs after coming close for the last two years.

With Gillet injured, Nicky Nicolau is expected to come in at left back, but manger, Paul Fairclough will be expected to name an otherwise unchanged side to the one that won 1-0 away at much fancied Chesterfield.

Probable line up: Harrison; Devera, Yakubu, Burton, Nicolau; Porter, Wright, Bishop, Puncheon; Norville, Birchall. Subs: Beckwith, O'Cearuill, Carew, Thomas, Hatch.
