Hatchy on target for England

The game played at Woking infront of over 3,000 fans. Bees stars Simon King and midfielder Deano Sinclair both started for England and the other Bees in the squad goalscorer Liam Hatch and Nicky Bailey who was making his debut for England came on as subs.


Grays Athletics Stuart Thurgood scored the first goal for England after 26 minutes with the assist by Dean Sinclair. Sincair was involved in the second goal on 30 minutes he fed Carlisle's Karl Hawley as he put the ball through to Chavenage (Stevenage) striker Anthony Elding for 2-0.
The Bees Liam Hatch then completed the scoring to make the final score 3-0 to the good.


After the match, a delighted Paul Fairclough said: "This is the best performance from my side since we won the Four Nations Tournament two years ago.
"There were a lot of very, very good performances out there and even though the Dutch got men behind the ball in the second half, we fully deserved our win.
"Some of these players have a bright future ahead of them."
