Fairclough has injury worries ahead of Mansfield trip.

Barnet will be without key defenders, Sagi Burton, Ismail Yakubu and Kenny Gillet for the away trip tomorrow to Mansfield. In addition, assistant manager, Ian Hendon is also injured. With only Joe Devera likely to be fit to play ay centre-back, Paul Fairclough has selection problems and will have to decide on whether to play a midfield player such as Neal Bishop or Michael Leary at the back or give a chance to untried youngster, Joe Tabiri. Another possibility is playing Max Porter at right back and moving Jordan Parkes to play alongside Joe Devera.

With Gillet still out, Nicky Nicolau will continue at left back and Fairclough will have to decide between Jason Puncheon and Kieron St. Amie on the left of midfield and who will play up front between Adam Birchall, Anthony Thomas and Cliff Akurang as all three have made strong claims to a place recently.

For Mansfield, on loan winger, Neil Wainwright is back again after missing Tuesday's match against Wrexham. Long term absentee, Lee Bell is still out.

Adam Birchall is, of course, a former Mansfield player and other players to have played for both clubs include Warren Hackett and John Doolan. Barnet's first ever league win came against Mansfield at Field Mill in august 1991, the Bees' scorers that day were Gary Bull and Mark Carter.

Since returning to the league in 2005, Mansfield have won both the matches at Field Mill. In 2005, they won comfortably 4-0, the match taking place the weekend before Barnet's Carling Cup trip to Old Trafford. Last season was a typical end of season affair with Mansfield winning 2-1, Adam Birchall scoring against his old team for the Bees.

At Underhill, in the 2005-06 season, a Liam Hatch goal won the game and three vital points for Barnet who were fighting to avoid relegation. In this match, the Stags finished up with just 9 men on the pitch. The following season an Ismail Yakubu goal and a first ever goal for Adam Gross gave the Bees a 2-1 win. Earlier this season, the game ended up 1-1, Liam Hatch scoring for Barnet, who missed a great chance of all three points when Jason Puncheon missed a late penalty.
