Devera and Yakubu to start at Sincel Bank

Barnet travel to Sincel bank this afternoon to take on Lincoln City badly needing to get something out of today's game. Our hosts have started the season poorly too with only a point from last Saturday's game against Grimsby from their first 4 matches. Barnet have lost this fixture for the past three seasons and even a point here will be looked upon as real success after losing our first six games this season.

Barnet do have some good news though as our defensive problems have received a major boost with the news that Joe Devera and Ismail Yakubu will return for today's match. Kenny Gillet also plays his first league game since the opening day of the season having served his three match suspension. The Bees will therefore be able to name a largely, first choice defence with Devera and Yakubu playing at centre back, Gillet at left back and probably, Ashley Carew coming in at right back.

While, Jeremy de Magalhaes will probably be out for at least 3 or 4 weeks, there was further good news for Bees fans with the news that Nicky Deverdics could be back in a week or two. His return to the side could make a major difference to the Bees.

Manager, Paul Fairclough will make a late decision about who plays in goal. It looks to be a choice between Ran Kadoch, who made his debut at Dagenham on Tuesday and Lee Harrison. Rob Beckwith appears to be out of favour at present.

Meanwhile, former Barnet loanee, Rob Burch, Aaron Brown and Stefan Oakes could miss out for Lincoln because of a flu virus. One time Bees target, Scott Kerr could return though after a back injury. Barnet are likely to face former trialist, Ben Wright who chose the Imps over Barnet at the start of last season. He scored four goals against Barnet last season, two in each of the league games.
