Barry's "delighted"

Barnet legend Barry Fry has told the Barnet Times that he thinks the Bees will have no trouble staying up next season he said:

"I think they will do very well," he said. "All the teams that come up from the Conference usually do well and I don't think Barnet will be any different.

"Paul Fairclough the manager has done a fantastic job and I think Tony Kleanthous the chairman has done even better. He has stuck with them through thick and thin.

"I couldn't be more delighted for both of them."

He also said that Barnet was still the first result he looked for on a Saturday.

Barry also said he was looking forward to taking on the Bees next season:

"I'm really looking forward to playing Barnet," he said.

"I've done very well whenever I've come back to Underhill in the past."

I'm sure when the Bees face Peterborough United Barry will get a great reception from the Bees fans although their is some rivalry between Barnet and Peterborough United. Peterborough United is the home of greedy bas**d, Mark Arber who left the Bees in 2003 over a loyalty bonus. Peterborough United is also home to ex Barnet player Chris Plummer.
