Bath City preview

On Saturday the mighty Barnet FC will take on Southern League Bath City new home of Steve Perrin who has arrived on loan from Forest Green Rovers Steve " Legend " as known by the Bees fans due to him being such a sport with the chants of "You fat b***ed" and should get a good reception with the Bees fans. Bath City are currently sitting 12th in the Southern Premiership and last Saturday won 2-0 with goals from Moor in the 58th minute and then Benefeild scoring in the 66th minute to give them the win infront of 599 away at Tiverton Town (who beat Barnet in the cup in 2002). At the same time as that the Bees were away at Hereford infront of 3645 The Bees drawing that game 1-1 with the Bees goal coming from Grazioli in the 5th minute.

Bath got in to the first round proper after beating LEATHERHEAD at home 1-0 infront of 938 with the goal coming from top scorer John Williams who has 7 league goals this season. The Bees are through to the first round after beating Farnborough Town in the 4th qualifying round with a last minute goal by Ismail Yakubu. The Bees got knocked out last year in the FA Cup second round against Yeovil 5-1 that game will be remembered for all the Santa Hats the Bees fans had on. I bet Saturdays game will be a right bobby dazzler like the FA Cup is meant to be.
