Barnet looking for three points from Lincoln tomorrow

This Saturday, Barnet entertain Lincoln City at underhill. The Imps are currently placed 14th in the table with 46 points from 38 matches. John Schofield was a managerial casual earlier in the season and he has been replaced by former Huddersfield Town manager, Peter Jackson, who has done a fine job since he arriverd, pulling them clear of relegation. Sadly, he has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently receiving treatment. while he is away from the club, assistant manager, Iffy Onuora is in charge. Last Saturday, the Imps went down 1-0 at home to promtion hopefuls, Stockport County.

Last season, the Imps completed the double over Barnet winning comprehensively 5-0 at Underhill in October and then winning 1-0 at Sincel bank in March. Barnet have Jason Puncheon back following his three match suspension and Adam Birchall is expected to be fit after missing the Grimsby and Chester matches. Kenny Gillet and Joe Devera have slight knocks but should also be fit for the Lincoln match. Sagi Burton and Rob Beckwith will miss the match through injury.

Lincoln expect to have Gary Croft back in contention for a place after being out for four months, while Ryan amoo could make his first appearance since New Years Day after being out with a knee ligament injury.

Goalkeepers:

Alan Marriot is the club's longest serving player having arrived at the club from Tottenham in 1999 and has since played over 300 games for the club.

Ayden Duffy is yet to make his first team debut but has loan experience with Worksop and Cambridge United.

Defenders:

Paul Green is a 20 year old who signed in the 2007 January transfer window from Aston Villa.

Gary Croft is an experienced player who signed from Lincolnshire rivals, Grimsby Town in the summer. He has also played for Cardiff City, Blackburn and Ipswich.

Adie Moses joined City last summer from Crewe and has also played for Huddersfield and Barnsley.

Lee Ridley is on loan from Cheltenham Town. The former Scunthorpe defender, who made over 100 appearances for the club, had an earlier loan spell at Darlington this season.

Lee Beevers joined the club from local rivals, Boston United in 2005 and is a Welsh Under 21 international.

Daniel Hone is just 18 and made his debut this season and has so far made six starts.

Nat Brown is a utility player, who can also play up front and was signed two years ago from Huddersfield Town.

Ryan Amoo has broken through into the first team at City after signing from Northampton Town in the summer where he only made a handful of first team appearances.

Midfield:

Lee Frecklington is a young home produced player who really broke through into the side last season. Scored Lincoln's winner in their 1-0 home win over Barnet in April.

Scott Kerr joined City two years ago from Conference side, Scarborough where he played for the England National Game XI managed by Paul Fairclough. Was rumoured to be a target for Barnet. Kerr has also played for Hull City and Bradford City.

Danny N'Guessan joined the club last January from Glasgow Rangers. He spent part of last season on loan to Boston United but has been more of a regular this season.

Owain Warlow is a young player who made 5 appearances as sub last season and has made 14 first team appearances this season, starting on 5 occasions.

Shane Clarke is a 20 year old product of the club's youth system who has made 7 starts this season.

Strikers:

Louis Dodds is on a season long loan from Leicester City and has previous loan experience with Rochdale and Northwich Victoria.

Jamie Forrester moved to Lincoln from rivals, Grimsby Town last summer after a short loan spell. An experienced player, Forrester has also played for Scunthorpe, Northampton and Bristol Rovers amongst others. He scored 18 goals last season for Lincoln including a hat trick at Underhill.

Mark Stallard is another experienced striker who arrived last summer from Shrewsbury Town. A former Wycombe and Barnsley player, he once scored 24 goals in a season for Notts. County, for whom he was a prolific scorer. He scored 16 goals for the Imps last season.

Lenell John-Lewis is an 18 year old who has scored 3 goals in 19 appearances this season after making his first team debut as a substitute last season.

Ben Wright signed for Lincoln in the summer after turning down the offer of a contract with Barnet having played in pre=season friendlies for the Bees. He has also played for Norwegian clubs, Viking Stavenger and I.K. Start. He has scored 10 goals this season.
