Directions:

From The M1
Exit the M1 at J15a, and take the A43 towards Towcester. From there follow all signs to Buckingham on the A413, and stay on the A413 until you reach Aylesbury. Once in Aylesbury, go straight over the first roundabout and the ground is the next turning on the left, about 100 yards on.

From The M40
Exit the M40 at Junction 9, then take the A41 first to Bicester and then to Aylesbury. Go straight over the first four roundabouts once you enter Aylesbury itself, following all signs for the A413 to Buckingham. At the fifth roundabout (by the Shell Garage) take the left hand exit. Go left at the next roundabout and the ground is about 100 yards on the right, almost opposite the "Horse & Jockey" pub.

From The M25
Exit the M25 at Junction 20, and take the A41 signposted for Aylesbury. As you enter Aylesbury, go straight over the first two roundabouts. At the two mini roundabouts (by the Esso Garage), go straight over the first and turn right at the second. Continue on this road, over the bridge and straight over the next roundabout, following any signs for the A413 to Buckingham. Go right at the next roundabout and the ground is about 100 yards on the right, almost opposite the "Horse & Jockey" pub.

By Rail
Aylesbury is well served by rail from London Marylebone via both Amersham and High Wycombe, with services generally running every half hour; however check with the operator for news of weekend maintenance work. The walk from the station takes approximately half an hour, so you might want to think about taking a taxi.

By Bus
The bus station is a good half hour walk from the ground and is in fact, quite near the railway station. Buses to Buckingham stop by the "Horse & Jockey" pub, opposite the ground.

Aylesbury United 2005/2006

Aylesbury are currently 16th in the Southern League Premier ( three leagues below the Bees ) after finishing 10th in the league last season. There biggest win this season was a 5-0 win at Thame United. The Ducks have hit a bit of poor form with no wins in four.

Player to watch:

Gavin Jaggard and Paul Edgeworth have both scored five times this season for the Ducks.

Team News:

It is unknown how seriously they will take this game yet…

Barnet 2005/2006:

Barnet player to watch:

Well of course this evening is all about the return of the legend that is Simon Clist. The midfielder come left back who was going to leave the club before Paul Fairclough gave him a chance to play at left back in the 5-1 friendly win against Boreham Wood in the summer of 2004. Simon hasn't played since the last game of last season against Dagneham and Redbridge. He came on for 5 minutes against Northampton Town but against Aylesbury will be playing a full 90 minutes.

Team News:

It is expected that the Bees will be playing a reserve line up with some back up players and some youth players such as: Scott Tynan , Joe Devera, Wesley Garcia, Paolo Vernazza and of course Simon Clist.

Prediction:

I think we will win this Mid- season friendly.

Aylesbury 1-3 Barnet
