Barnet clubs and Luton clubs have met in the FA Cup in the early part of the 20th century. In 1911, Barnet Alston played Luton Clarence in the 1st qualifying round of the FA Cup. Barnet won 1-0. In 1912, they defeated Luton Crusaders 2-0 and Luton Alliance 5-2 in the FA Cup. In 1913, they won a preliminary round FA Cup match against Luton Trinity 3-0. In 1914, they defeated Luton Alliance 4-0 and Luton Clarence 4-2. In 1911, Barnet FC lost a preliminary round FA Cup match to Luton Clarence by 4-2.
