that Paul Fairclough signed a new three-year deal as the fixtures were announced in front of the Sky Sports News cameras.
Paul Fairclough joked "I'll be playing my first team on August 6th." The Bees took on Bristol Rover in last seasons LDV Vans Trophy second round where the Bees lost 2-0 with a fringe line-up. Paul said ahead of the Football League "We will set out to win, not to come second". Bees chairman Tony Kleanthous told Sky Sports "An incredibly happy day". He also said if we could emulate Yeovil Town as a Football League side he will be very happy. We need a League standard ground first Tony.
