Anthony is 23 years old and 6 ft 2. And has previously played for Crewe Alexandra. Paul Fairclough said on the day the Bees signed him..

Charles is a centre back but can also play left of midfield of left back.
Anthony Charles has committed to the club after signing a new deal today until the end of next season. Anthony played 9 times last season and once as a sub he made his debut against Woking at Kingsfield on January infront of 2,802 which saw the 1-1 draw between the Bees and Woking home of the Jam and Paul Weller ( who was in the Jam ). Ian Hendon on Target that day for the Bees which gave them the lead but Woking then levelled in the second half....
When Ant signed some Bees fans thought he had signed because one of the club defenders was leaving soon but lets hope none of the are. Anthony can play Centre back or Left Back.
