Joe Skarz is on loan from Huddersfield, where he has made over 50 first team appearances. He has also played on loan at Hartlepool. League appearances for Shrewsbury: 3.
Harry Hooman is a product of the youth system at Shrewsbury and he made his league debut this season. League appearances for Shrewsbury: 1(1).
Dean Holden joined Shrewsbury from Falkirk in the summer of 2009. He began his career at Bolton before joining Oldham in 2002 after having been on loan with the Latics. He moved to Peterborough in 2005 and two years later joined Falkirk. League appearances for Shrewsbury: 25.
Graham Coughlan is a 33 year old centre back and another much travelled player, who signed in the summer of 2008 from Rotherham. He has played for Blackburn, Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth, for whom he made over 200 appearances. He made 49 appearances for Rotherham scoring 1 goal. Shane Cansdell-Sherriff joined the club in the summer of 2008. He has also played for Rochdale, Tranmere and AGF Aarhus. League appearances for Shrewsbury: 54(4), Goals: 2.
Kelvin Langmead was formally with Preston and was converted from a striker to a central defender. League appearances for Shrewsbury: 195(21), Goals: 18.

Jake Simpson is a young player who joined from Blackburn and made his debut on the opening day of the season against Burton Albion where he came on as a substitute. League Appearances for Shrewsbury: 7(3).
Paul Murray joined the Shrews from Gretna in the summer of 2009. He previously played for Carlisle, Oldham, QPR and Southampton. League appearances for Shrewsbury: 55(2), Goals: 2.

He had a loan spell at Aldershot in 2005 scoring 4 Conference goals in 8 matches and had another loan spell with the Shots last season, scoring 4 goals in 19 matches. Nathan Elder joined the Shrews from Brentford in August 2009. He helped the Bees win the League Two title in 2008/09.
