A round up of last night's matches at the bottom of League Two.

Last night saw four of the bottom six clubs in action. Results on the night meant that the Bees, without a game, dropped to 21st in the table. This was due to Bournemouth continuing their good run with a 4-1 home win over play-off hopefuls, Bradford City. Steve Fletcher and Jeff Goulding both grabbed two goals for the Cherries with Matt Clarke scoring for City. Bournemouth moved up to 20th with this win. The Cherries have now gained 13 points from their last 5 matches and are now on 34 points from 38 matches, a point above Barnet, though the Bees have two games in hand.

Accrington took a big step towards safety with a 2-0 home win over Port Vale. Andy Proctor and Jimmy Ryan scored for Stanley who remain in 19th place with 37 points from 37 games, only a point below Vale who have just 1 win in five matches and will be hoping that they are not dragged into the relegation battle themselves.

With Chester not playing, Grimsby had the chance to climb out of the bottom two and this seemed likely when Ryan Bennett put the Mariners ahead at bottom club, Luton Town, but goals from Mark Bower and Asa Hall gave the Hatters the three points. Luton are now on 16 points from 37 points, still 11 points from safety. Grimsby have 27 points from 38 matches and have taken just 6 points from the last 13 matches.
